Privacy policy

This is an educational sports injury site with no user accounts, no login, and no forms of any kind. You cannot submit personal information here even if you want to, and the site collects no protected health information, ever. What little data handling exists is described completely below.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages get read and which links get used. GA4 collects standard usage data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and interaction events such as outbound link clicks. This site sends it nothing personal beyond that automatic collection. You can opt out with any standard content blocker, with Google's own opt-out browser add-on, or by declining analytics cookies in your browser settings.

Server logs and live data endpoints

Like every website, the hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting; these rotate out routinely and are not mined for anything. The live data endpoints that power the conditions panel, the Injury Wire, and the Conchs scoreboard apply IP-based rate limiting to prevent abuse: a counter per visitor address, kept briefly in a server-side file and reused only for that purpose. No personal data is stored by these endpoints.

Third-party data shown on this site

The live modules display data fetched from public sources: the National Weather Service, Open-Meteo, NOAA CO-OPS, ESPN public injury data, and ScoreStream. Those are displays of their data on this site, not data sharing about you. External links throughout the site, including physician-reviewed condition references and the clinic site, lead to destinations with their own privacy practices.
